Slice along polygroup borders?

Is there a way to slice and cap a model along existing polygroup borders that will also create clean caps on the open faces similar to what the slice brushes do? I need the capped holes on both side to be a perfect Boolean match for 3d printing so using split by groups then cap holes won’t work.

The slice curve brush does what I need but it only lets you describe the cut line from a single view angle. I need to be able to art direct the new seam all the way around the perimeter of my model (to follow existing surface folds) and then slice based on that “loop”.

any ideas?
