Excellent… how did you achieve these renders?
EricShawn - Thanks! Everything was rendered in ZBrush using various matcaps and then composited in Photoshop.
Here is some images from the Concept Sculpting and Maquette course I took taught by Bryan Wynia. Great class and it pushed me to work much faster.
Here is matcap render
Here is polypaint render

grate character creatures
I already said this in the course forums, love how you ended up with this creature!
Good job!
Here is an illustration I completed recently. The elephant was done in ZBrush. The church was modeled in modo and the final image rendered in modo with a little retouching done in Photoshop.
Thanks.
very fun.
wow! strong work! love the contrast between the elephant skin and the hardness of the church’s modeling.
Hah, love the elephant!
i love the artwork… and the Message!
I have to say… I am lost on the message. It is a really great image though, but what am I missing @invertedNormal ?
Have a blessed day,

That there is actually an elephant in the room, specifically a church. At least that’s what I see.
edit: Changed “literally” to “actually”.
This is great!
What was your inspiration for creating this?
Love the Elephant!
