Awesome job Brett …

Paper bag is very cool -

As I’ve said before, this is perfect  amazing. This model is begging to be textured, and judging by your other work it should be a piece of cake to do. Really beautiful expressions, and the subtle hint of caricature is just perfect. :+1:

Truly amazing work!! Great likeness :+1: :+1: :+1:

Holy awesomness!!! Top Row! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: !

Should be on the top row with the others!!!

Fantastic work Brett! Great choice of expressions :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

super nice work, great study, all sculpted expressions, wow.

Helixdnb: Thank you! Means a lot that you saw who it was before reading the title :).

chindian: Thanks man.

Dealer2 Couleurs: Ye his got a freakish neck. Its a strange thing its long and really flat looking. His also got really narrow shoulders too :).

Tyrone M: Thanks TY, Love your work man. The bioshock pic is awesome! Thanks for the crits on Shia. Really appreciated and I learnt a ton :+1:

Pedro Toledo: Haha. Thank you so much. I’m glad you think so. Yea I like the drunk one too. Had a good time on that one :).

ivar_sn: Thank you.

nerveink: Thank you thank you thank you :). But I think top row is alreafy filled with expressions. Nothing fresh here I’m afraid. I’m always too late ;).

Mikeporetti: Thank you so much for the kind words, Shia was rendered in mental ray. The hair was done with shave and a haircut rendered as hair primitives. If you use shave go into the shave globals and turn the tab from buffer to hairprim. Also once you do that scroll down to mental ray tab and turn off render in ‘safe’ mode. That tab turns your render over to rasterizer. I know they say render hair in rasterizer but thats if you render it seperate. I’ll stop talking now :).

nickz: Hey buddy  thanks for replying. I hope your still well and your family too my friend.

skull_monster: :). Thank you. Your work is really impressive.

Mr Vinck: Haha. Thank you so much.

Disco Stu: Haha. Thanks man. I feel like a studio ran over me if that helps :).

wolfie: hahahahaaha. I know what you mean. Although. I was there once. Uh oh… hehe.

Sebcesoir: Thank you sir. I hope to see more of your evangelion piece soon. Amazing work. And your warhammer piece was outstanding.

roger: Thank you.

Moni-Poroni: Ye there was a challenge over on cgtalk. Sorry to spam zbc with all the expressions :).

ezekiel6: haha. Thanks man. Really appreciate it :).

skulll_monster: :). No worries my friend.

nellement: Funny you say that. I basically picked him out of a hat. I think Jim Carrey or and older actor like tommy lee jones would have been easier. But I don’t know.

  • FoOD -: Yo whats up FOO. hehe. Thanks bud. Love your work.

d8Ds: Hehe. thank you. Maybe a textured version will pop up. Who knows ;). Congrats again on the top row for your piece. I’m pretty sure you’ll win best cartoon character :).

pummumu: Hey Herb. Thanks for the kind words and votes on cgtalk. Really appreciate it. Love your work man. Your sagat sculpt is awesome!

Etcher: Haha. Thank you so much. you have some really cool studies in your sketchbook.

Captain Sensible: Thank you so much for the kind words:)

rasmusW: Hey buddy. Thanks for the support through the challenge. Its really appreciated. Hope to see more critters from you soon.

threetails: Hey Cam. Thanks. These were all sculpted one by one. Normaly i’d use blend shapes but I wanted to try get more control by individual sculpts. Blends would have been really cool cause then I could animate him.

This was a wip test to see if the model was correct during the modelling process. Its not a final texture or anything so just ignore the anti aliasing and crappy quality as well as the shirt pasted on his neck :).
I used the imageplane 3 a lot and it probably saved my a$$. Thank you marcus_civis.
