Ryan Kingslien's Sketchbook 3.0 (Contains Nudity)

Hello! My book is out and I thought it was time to share with everyone here. I’m quite proud of it but I am most proud of Chapter 3.

Here is the remake of the cover I did the other day.

Below is the Anatomy Chart I used in the book. Thank you Anatomy Tools for the skeleton.

The gun was created using Shadowbox and the Clip brushes

One of the chapters details using a workflow that converts polypainting to masks to inflated details. Its not as easy as it might look as you have to find a way to extract everything that is above 50% grey into a mask that inflates everything while saving the rest for a mask that will deflate the form.

Also, I created a website for the book with a long video where I got to talk about my experiences as a sculptor.

You are a great teacher of zbrush and sculpture
I think that your book is like a great plug in to my “zbrush brain” and a very good tool to surf out the “Valley of the Suck”

Purchased the book off Amazon.com just the other day and so far its like everyone has hinted at, “a must-have” reference material.

For someone so new to sclupting and zBrush its just the tool I needed to get started and challenging enough to start burnishing a “stubborn titanium type willpower”.

The humor in the early section of the book has me laughing out loud and get strange looks from my wife.

Thanks again for all your hard work at effort that went into producing the book I hope everyone gets a chance to buy and utilize this great resource.

Amazon are awesome with deliveries, they have changed the date of delivery for this book about 5 times now, even got one this morning saying that previous delivery date has now changed from March 31st to March 18, at least its sooner, but i cant wait any longer for this book
