@mutte696: yeah i recognized this on my thumbnails too o_O

ok here is a new one, always wanted to do a character based on Chris Sanders Work, thats not Stitch
So i tried to capture the flow of his personal pieces in a 3d sculpted pin up, so now i should decide how to go further:rolleyes:

Im actually so jealous! Im also doing a pin up to and Im far from what you achieve your work is amazing.:+1:

Excellent walkthrough on your mail, especially the tip in the slideknit tool. I was wishing I had something like that only days ago, so I’ll definitely be putting that one to work.

Many thanks! & great work too.

Awesome, I’m a big fan of Chris Sanders and you’ve got the style down pretty good.

Great work! I love the character design

Wow! This is fantastic work, very clean and animated and so full of style! This is exactly the kind of work that I would love to do myself and would aspire to. I especially like the low-poly heads, it shows just how well a nice, simple texture and a well-crafted but streamlined poly can go together.

Lovely stuff, please keep showing more!

This is really great! I’ve been meaning to do a similar study for a while now… Chris Sanders has such a distinct and beautiful style, and it’s great to see one of his human characters in 3space. (As far as I know, the only character that he designed in HTTYD was Toothless, and while he was cute, I really wanted to see more.)

You’ve done an excellent job capturing the style, and as a Sanders connoisseur I don’t say that lightly.

Nice style. I like her skin, and how you did the muscles, and fatty areas on her body. She looks very supple, and squeezable.

I second that!

Neox, can you show some wires and stuff, I’m courious how much was done with standard poly modeling and how much in zbrush.

This is really great character.

oh this one is entirely zbrush with a very simple basemesh which i expaned when needed, i started with the head and then added the torso etc, thanks to the new roprojection stuff it really easy to work this way, at first i only blocked the very rough shapes with planes and later i made a simple basemesh with that.

this is the retopo:

still need to define some areas more like the knees
