I’m currenlty studing part of the anatomy too I’d like to recomend you the andrews loomis books for that matter just go to any 2d anatomy book out there and start scuplting close to the book examples , worked for me for the head and torso , the arms are a bit dificult tho same as legs

Today i started on a new character, i want to make a civil war style char: here we go

The face doesn’t say much to me at the moment, I think I’d give it more character, bulge the nose, playing with the cheekbones and chin… he’s a pirate, right? He kind of has this smooth babyfaced look you wouldn’t expect from someone out in the sun all day, used to hard work.
