Nimlot's Sketchbook

Great job bro.I would love to buy the tutorial. Keep it up.:wink:

Thanks mate.
I’m getting really close to finish it. :smiley:

You! Yes. You! How about you check this toolbag scene while my master finishes the damn tutorial?

I know…I know…it should have been done by now…but I was a little busy lately at work and also I took some time to make him a weapon(and a tutorial for it too). Still need to record some voice over but I will finish it soon.

Meanwhile here’s a wallpaper.

And a turntable:

Lately I’ve had the pleasure to be part of the beta testing for the new Marmoset Viewer and I must say it is impressive. I’ve already exported most of my portfolio with it and I doubt I will ever go back to only show up a few pictures for my characters.

Here are the characters I’ve made for Warmachine Tactics

Hey, I’ve just bought Marmoset, but I don’t seam to find the Viewer integration!? how did you manage to…

@Diablo Thanks mate

@Th3estric As I’ve said I was part of the beta testing for the Viewer. It will soon be released for everyone with the new update for Marmoset Toolbag. Don’t worry it will be free :wink:

amazing ! :slight_smile: love your sculpts man… keep it up

these look superb! Love the viewer, it really shows of your work!
How did you get on the beta? Do you know if they’re still looking? :slight_smile:

Thanks guys
@RawSunlight Well…I got into beta mostly because my female warrior was part of their demo at GDC 2015. I have no idea how to get in the beta now and if they need more people…but the guys from Marmoset said it won’t take long till the Viewer will be available to everyone.

Thanks for getting back to me, man…great works, and I’m really excited to try out the viewer

Those characters are gorgeous! Marmoset makes the coolest render machines. :slight_smile:

@ jan19 Thanks. Yeah…I love the god damn viewer…it’s quite amazing :slight_smile:

…and a cool way to find out about the Marmoset Viewer!

@sadicus Thanks

And 3 more characters exported for the viewer. Of course there are some limitations…like the fuzz map and emissive that are not exported for the viewer and some hair issues that guys from Marmoset still try to work out. Anyway…imho it’s the best 3d web viewer and since I’m always testing my personal projects in marmoset Toolbag I find it really cool to be able to export it for the viewer and get a really close result from what I get in Toolbag. .

Thanks for the response
These look great!
Shame about the lack of emissive…would have thought that was actually the easiest thing to do, flat colour at least, skip any glow? :slight_smile:

As far as I understood…the problem with the emissive and the other maps that are not working in the viewer is not because it’s hard to make them work but rather a problem since webgl only allow you to load a limited number of maps. The guys from marmoset said tho that they are trying to find a workaround.

I’ve decided a few days ago to model Eomer’s sword. Half way through the process I’ve decided to make the whole character. So here are the first baby steps into making this character.

looking nice so far.love the sword.;):wink:
