New Work.

Hi PFC, thanks again! Yes I am having fun now.

Best, David

i am enjoying the minimalist one  … david, these renders really enhance your work, i am so glad you found keyshot

Hi Kokoro, as always thanks for stopping by! Glad you are enjoying what I have been doing. Have you given Keyshot a try yet?

All the best, David

Me stoping by as well
Wonderful images David.
As Doris mentioned, a great enhancement.
As for keyshot it costs more money than it should. (IMO)
Blender cycles gives you more freedom for free. (for your donation I should say, even it’s 0)
It’s ridiculous but it’s happening.

hey guys a friend of mine (Francesco Mai, check him here on ZBC or on internet for his fantastic scultures) suggests me OCTANE RENDER…what do you think? I don’t know which rendering to test (vray, mental ray, keyshot, octane etc) i like zbrush rendering even if it has some limitations (caustics, raytracing, etc etc) but it is fast to me and have a cool paint like feel with a certain settings but at the same time would be cool to experiment photorealism. My frustration is i don’t know how to export some too high density mesh on those other softwares without becoming mad with uv’s textures etc , it’ s still a mystery i don’t find a proper tutorial for better rendering including material and lights settings or tips for exporting including here on zbc. I mean a tutorial really in depth about material, light, render settings plus exporting on other sw if necessary.

Hi Danielle, Octane I know nothing about, Vray, Mental Ray to me have a serious learning curve ( may as well put the time in with Zbrush IMHO ) Keyshot is easy to use if it does everything you need that is. You can download a trial version … The external render has a water mark but the real time render and a screen shot do not. Also you can render very big files. Hope this helps!

Hi Michalis, thanks for stopping by and the kind words! Glad you like the latest images.

All the best, David

thx for the reply btw i’m a man and you use often “Danielle” sounds so feminine eheh (italian’s men are serious on those things you know ahahah)

Sorry about that Daniele! I knew you were a man, my spelling is the culprit.

naah i was jokin’ of course no problem at all  wating for more keyshot render from you i’m curious to see this new direction :+1:

I am having the first ever problem ,with Zbrush … All of a sudden when I try and export a small model 500,000 polygons I get a dialog box saying I am critically low on disk space and then it locks up and I have to force quit! I have about 40 gigabytes of disk space. I asked for help but no reply yet. Did you ever encounter that?

Cheers, David

Hi David

Really enjoying these latest ZBrush/Keyshot Combo’s …Post #1191 on the previous page in here is my favorite so far…really like the way the small bit of the red tentacle shape is reflected on the surface of the other shape…really nice illusion and effect there…Great compostion also…a real eye catcher…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Wish I could be of help on your latest computer problem…but i’m in the dark when it comes to problems like the one you described…
Anyway, wishing you good luck in solving it…Dam machines anyway.

Glenn

Hi Glenn, glad that you are liking this last body of work! I am really enjoying the combo of those two apps. My problem appears to be Zbrush … Why in hell would 40 gigabytes of disk space not be enough to export a 500,000 poly file?

An old model revisited. C4D, Zbrush, Keyshot.

Hi Gary, thanks for stopping by and for the kind words … Glad you like this new work of mine!

WaxShell.jpg

i like this last one a lot, david. renders in white always appeal to me, and the forms are intriguing  … no, until yet i have not tried keyshot. i see the wonderful results you produce with it, but i love also cycles, , has you exporting problem resolved? i notice too that as obj exported zbrush meshes need about 3 times much diskspace than the original, but the numbers you say are way beyond that ratio.

Hi Kokoro, always a pleasure to get your feedback, glad you are liking this new work. I am still having problems with no answers from Anyone. It may be my computer but why would Zbrush lock up every time and why would no other app be affected? I will get to the bottom of this eventually but for now I am using old models and can’t get anything out of brush!

All the best, David
