@Renaud: Internet stalker alert! Hahah - You know I love your stuff so it’s great to hear that you are digging the stuff that I am doing. I’m definately taking a break from this realistic stuff for my next character though - your sculpts have definately inspired me into a different direction
@petekasim: These guys are just for personal work… although if anybody has deep enough pockets/ any know how I would certainly love to turn them into an IP
@xerious3d: Hahah - yeah the spiked mace looks curiously similar to the boar’s favourite food of Wild Dark Thorn Radish and he couldn’t resist chomping it down in one mouthful… that’s why he looks so angry in the picture!

As promised here’s the shots of the wires incase anybody is interested. As I mentioned earlier these were made to game specs, and although the polycount is admitedly quite high I tried to keep it in the realm of what modern games could use. Maybe these could be for the ingame cinematics and the actual ingame models could be optimised down a little bit.
I hope these show the construction a little bit better and show what they look like with the unflattering standard MAX shaders and lighting!

EDIT - Hmm I can’t seem to get my images to show for some reason. I have used the [ IMG ] tags but they are jus showing as links. The button to make the link into an image isn’t showing when I try to reply either. Very strange.http://www.pixolator.com/zbc/images/smilies/cry2.gif

Digging the design of the boar. imo, Spec on both are a little harsh, but doesn’t detract too much from the overall look. Great works…

@WHW_ - I Agree the spec looks off in the screen caps out of MAX- the textures weren’t setup to look good using the realtime MAX shader and instead were tweaked for the renders. The realtime FX shade is quite basic and didn’t have support for a gloss map which doesn’t help the look of them!
I find that different target engines handle the specular properties quite differently so it’s always best not to try and tweak those textures too much in MAX and instead wait until you get them in your target engine and tweak then.
Nice, the alpha on the pig looks nice.
