The whale is surfacing, while the ship is moving straight ahead. This would account for the difference.
Cool Very cool Nice work:D
sweet jesus, that is extremely impressive.
man, that is one of the coolest things i ever seen. so much so,in fact it inspired metotry a hand at it. although i amvery very new to zbrush, i started it last night, and thought i was done. then look at yours again, just now, and although i thought mine was cool, it looks as it were done by a 10 yr old, compared to yours.
Hehe!!
No worries brother, you will learn it and be much better then me one day, Just keep on practicing.
Zbrush grows on you, It automatically becomes a standard Tool in any CG artist work flow, it is almost like how Photoshop made the industry shake back in the 90s, today people treat it like a stander with the computer. ZBrush is the tool that allows you to reach too 100% completion in a much more faster & flexible way…!!
Wow I am so inspired !! you make some beautiful art madd madd props I need to see more. yer new fan .and aspireing zbrush artist…
Wow! Dont really know what to say. Thanks for showing the WIP
Were the trees and rocks meshpaint instances or something?
It looks like the displacement and normal map from ZBrush had only
the whale and the base land masses, while the trees and higher frequency
details were placed in modo. Were these then also normal mapped?
LightWave doesn’t support instancing natively yet, so I’m interested in
how you put the whole thing together…workflow-wise.
This is my new favorite piece, it will be a hard one to beat!
I agree with an earlier poster, this should be published.
you are right,
I had to convert all the instances into actual 3D models before I sending it over to LW.
I hope that helps
absolutly beautifull
awesome pic hope you don’t mind me saving it as my wallpaper absolute awesome
