Very cool Carlos! A mech-Dumbo. All the best, David

Thanks David!, It’s my first Low Poly. I had to work hard with Dumbo.

First render of “Little Master”. All made with Dynamesh.

impressive! did you dynamesh from begining to end or only in the early stages?

great pose on “little master”!!

Usurpator, I use Dynamesh in the major part. When I think I don’t need it, turn it off.

There is some really nice work here, i think your overall form is great but you need to work on you finer detail to sharpen up the sculpt a bit.

Carlos, astounding work as always! I wish more people used Zbrush to create a mood or even tell a story as opposed to just another alien/orc standing there not doing anything. Many of those pieces are beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but they just don’t induce a real feeling when viewed.

One very minor crit, the chain hanging from his right arm and coming up from the floor ring looks just a little unnatural as it is hanging. I completely understand why you positioned like that to show that he is just now breaking away. Maybe if you put a broken link in the empty air between the ends of the chain it would help.

Beautiful work as it stands, Carlos.

yes, this piece tells a story clearly. great work. from the sculpting i like very much how convincing the blend between human and animal is. both parts really contribute.

Thank you very much guys for the comments. I’m a little tired of the Minotaur but thanks to all the advice, I have to improve it.

Nice job on your Minotaur, really digging the pose and the face especially.
Keep up the great work buddy.
Happy zbrushing,

  • Kenny:)

I’ve done for the contest “Poly Limit Challenge 3D” (http://polylimit.blogspot.com.es/) a Minotaur.
The competition was limited at 8000 polys but as a practice i continue working on it.

the Whole work took about 15 days using my free time.
the base mesh was made using ZSphere
then i applied Dynamesh
the Retopology was done Zbrush
the pose was using Transpose Master
Total number of polygons: 6,4 mi

I have to thank all my friends of “Spanish Modelers” and especially Diego Rodriguez for push me to end and give me the idea of the Medusa. Thanks
