Hey man, I know all about not getting any reply’s that’s just the nature of the forum. But I would be a prick if I bitch about it and then give no reply’s myself huh? So here goes…
You have the expression there and you can see what you are going for but there is alot you need to work on. It would be a good idea to go back to a lower subdivision level and really work on your form some more and then slowly work your way up to the higher subdivision levels. Don’t paint untill you’re 100% satisfied with your sculpt because otherwise you’ll be going back and forth (believe me I know)
At the moment your form is still to rough and as a result the image suffers. As I said first go back to a very low subd level and work on your form there. Then as you go higher, add details on every level as you go. Don’t go up a level untill you’re completly satisfied. At the moment you have some rimpels but you should get reference and try to really work it in there. Once again don’t start untill the primary form is done. Then you can add hairs and finally color. With the armour, try to get as much of that done in another program like maya because (at least for me) you can get a lot more detail there easier on hard surface models. It just looks more fabricated because you can work more precise. Once again that’s my preference.
Hope that helps and keep sculpting!
Cheers, M
