Rainbow worms

Nice to see some more “glow” to this thread Antimorph!

This one is how it looks when you put your propeller hat on inside out

I wanted to see if this procedure worked on zspheres with attractors. Yep

Hi Digits
Mysterious beauty of the worming forms
“Inanimate matter (here an 2D image :))have you a soul ?”
Have happy Zbrushing!

Ps just a little question
In your previous color moebius in this thread, is it a “closed” form?(without start and end)

Thanks for you comments Frenchy. No, the other ‘worms’ in my images are not closed although you could create a moebius with zspheres with a little manual dexterity using my Zsphere Angle widget. I did make a lopsided one in a image a while back. If I had the math skills I would make a moebius script!

Here is my contribution to the worm topic. A vision of Dune from F.Herbert.
Hope you’ll like it.

Hi Théo
There are some fans of this Frank on this forum
Very energic beast for a worm

“Usul has called a big one. Again… it is the legend.”

– Stilgar, from the movie DUNE

:+1: Theo!

Theo! Fabulous! I love Dune, and this is a wonderful depiction of the desert and the Worm. Very well done indeed!

Thanks Frenchy, Dmerchen, Jaycephus and Northstarr! Yeah I really like these books too. Still haven’t had time to read the following (prequel actually) part from the son yet. I wish I had more time to paint on this subject. It’s such a fascinating universe. Cheers!

During the 60’s,when Fantasia was an underground cult favorite,do you know how much money I could have made with the images on this thread.
Theo, on your first post there were joking references to Van Gogh.
With more images like this, joking will cease.
In any case, leave the ear alone.

Thanks Rtyer,

Glad you liked it.
Good thing I like to go to the cinema and listen to music. I’ll keep my ears intact! Though ZB is starting to haunt me at night and I start having red eyes and beiing nerrrvvvous and … shh…sshhakingg while reaching my keyboard. It’s the ZBmania syndrom probably.

Awesome image Theo, putting the Fremen in the foreground really gives scope to just how big Makers are, well done

I must say Boozie this thread has reinvigorated my inspiration which had been non-existant for months, thanks.

using this method it is really the textures that count, sorry I can’t remember where I got these, off cyberspace somewhere.

If you don’t have a name for that, you could call it Moebius Grasshopper.

:+1:

Thanks Digit, it gives me the will to continue doing more on the subject.

Besides, I like your abstract work on shapes.
It shows another aspect of the great potential of ZB.
Good week-end to everyone.

Still not out of steam

Here are things you might find in a junkyard on Tatoone

looking forward to more images of Dune Theo, so get right on it!

Looking further amid the junkpile were some doodahs that I always wanted.

Testing some new features of ZifSlick which I will release soon.

Note:
that thing in the left corner was done in knotplot, which is a really cool program. If I had a bigger brain I could script that utility for zspheres.

Here the Knot Plot that Digits use I presume
Have happy Knoting

Very Nice work all, any chance of a script or tutorial on how you’re doing yer worms Digits?
