Ok so Now that my site is officially dead.
Yep Dead. The site was donated to me by a person that wanted to give back to the community. But the site has grown up and out of containment. 1.2 Tbs a month too big and at a non donated price that comes to around 300$ a month.
So ya I like egg noodles but living on them would suck.

After doing vids for this many years I Adapt pretty well to the enviroment and will be puttong together a nice thread here on pixologic using veoh.
No more charging for videos!!!
Donations are always welcome and there is a link at www.houseoftutorials.com on the front page for paypal.

But other than that, ya charging for videos brings a new level of responceablity to me as an artist that makes me less of an artist (if that makes sense).
Managing accounts transactions blah blah blah o and the ever so fun (I lost my password) was great.

These youtube and veoh type sites are perfect for this and I even plan to use megaupload for very foreign types.

I’m sorry to hear this - but at the same time it’s a trubute to how popular your videos are! :wink:

I like Voeh. No problem there for me - I’ve subscribed to your tutorials there, so they download automatically when you add new ones - unless you start a new category like this last one - but even there, I just had to subscribe to the category and it’s been downloading them all evening in the background.

I do understand about not wanting to charge for them, and how turning it into a business can kind of take away from the artistic element. But I do hope you get some donations. From those who can afford it. Kind of a way of saying thanks. And for those that can’t afford it, look how much you are bringing to them! What a good feeling it must be to realize how many people you have helped and are helping with these tutorials!

So, I hope you keep it up and don’t let the server problems get to you. There’s always a way to adapt, and I think Voeh is perfect for this.

And thanks again, many times over, for sharing these with us!

Well, that is a change.

I hope it works out…
My personal wish is that you would use MegaVideo for the simple reason the people wanting to download a higher res version of your lesson do not have to install software on their computer to do so.

I happen to think that the Veoh method and installation of its required software is invasive.

In addition I don’t think there is a way to get a clean hi-res vid download from Veoh or You-Tube. That isn’t too good when trying to see which tools you are using, etc. during the course of the lesson. The ones I have gotten from MegaVideo have been pretty sharp.

Whatever. 2 cents.

All i have to say is “What a trooper!” You have made a significant contribution to this site and its members. Does this mean that the auto bi-monthly billing cycle will be abolished, or is there another step I have to take to be removed from that list?

Monday I will send the Super encripted PDF that they need me to fill out and get this “FAX” to them.
I do not own this 8 track relic know as a “fax” machine but luckly my work does.
Not to worry this will be top priority monday morning;)

Never understood the encription of forms by companys that need them filled out but ya I guess thats just the wacky overprotected world we live in.

hey… i got a problem in one of your tut’s
its the gettingmodelsetup tut and in the end of it
i need to go in the controlepannel and copy some text i did that
but where do i need to copy it to…

now its a little wierd that i ask about maya leasons in a zbrush site but

Veoh I think is updating again so I am not sure how I will fit in the veoh scheme of things in the near future if they keep up their “ruining a good thing” ways

Thanks jason for quick reply and helping in learning zbrush.
I checked your tutorials on veoh also.I like your style of discussing bad and good things,what to do and what not to do stuff. :+1:
Now videos at veoh are not arranged properly like they used to before(2 days ago).Almost 500 tutorials by you including photoshop,maya,zbrush are there. :wink:
