Kris Costa's Zbrush 3 Stuff (some nudity)

My faves are frank: the super fine details and irregularities on the skin, and that interesting skin shader of yours, make me feel like we’ve stepped into a new epoc of 3d graphics realism - wife and “pinup doll”: amazing control of the forms, lines…planes…and a pair of great legs on the pinup doll :o - whats particularly impressive is that the forms in the female face and body are much more subtle(or deceptively simple) and therefore more difficult to understand and reproduce exactly.

And I bet you did it all twice as fast - given the volume of work you have to show,

Congratulation and thanks for sharing your wonderful work,

Kircho

I like the facial expression, the psychological side of the character.
Great work Kris, keep posting!

This is really art,and is not another monster made of a lot of brushes.

I really admire your dedicatian and capaciti to focusing without loosing the interest and love.

Do you work in several models at time jumping?

Great stuff, As ALWAYS Kris. I hope you are well… it’s always great seeing your work… I particularly like the blonde girl… was that from a live model?

amazing work Kris.

Do you have plans to animate this guy?..
Have you had any time to do some personal work in animation?.. I remember your fantastic plumber animations and i would like to see more!

Amazing works! :+1:

Really great models. What’s the material you used for the plain zb renders of igor on the turntable? It looks like a nice material to work in.

I’ve skimmed over all the pages and can’t see if you already answered this.

Thanks

Perfect Kris, I love it! :+1:

Hey! Thanks guys
As for the shader and light in ZBrush, this shader was created by Ralf and I just changed it a tiny bit. Say thanks to Ralf for that
I’m posting it attached. Have fun!

George_ivanovich,
yeah, right now I have too much characters started but just a few finished :frowning:
I’m working full time at the studio and doing some freelance work at home. I wish I had more time to finish my works and create some tutorials for you guys but right now I just can’t :frowning:

tomcapizzi,
man! I’m glad to see you here! How’s life? I’m doing allright… very busy but allright
No, the model was created by imagining someone in that pose. Kinda tricky and not the perfect solution but that’s what I had to do

yolao,
I yould love to but as I said, so much to do and not a lot of free time :frowning:
Thanks!

To all of you, thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate reading your words :+1:

skulll_monster,
I hope so too! Thanks a lot

Hey guys, totally off topic. This year I was nominated Maya Master!! How cool is that?
The voting process started already and you can choose only one name, which is sad because you can’t for example, choose a Maya Master and a Max Master (because both categories are all mixed).

Anyway, there are a lot of cool artists in the list, some are Zbrush artists
