I’ve got a figure that is imported with it’s polygroups, and I want to mask of certain groups, and only work on specific ones.
Ctrl+Shift+Click on a polygroup to hide everything else.
Ctrl+Click on the canvas.
At this point, the visible polygons will be masked. Since the visible polygons are a polygroup, then that whole polygroup will be masked. Now unhide the rest of the mesh. Repeat with other polygroups if you’d like.
Ah! nice speedy trick! Thanks for that uber fast reply, Aurick!
Just to get an update, on Zbrush 4 isnt there now a even quicker way to do it? I think i managed to hide by polygroup withou actually having to hide/unhide.
If so what is the shortcut?
Wow, this trick is what I have been looking for. Thanks!!
