Insert Multi Mesh Repository

(I thought I had these posted a long time ago to this thread, but…guess I failed to do so! Sorry 'bout that!)

My first contribution to the ZBrush community:

I usually work with Marvelous Designer, making garments, but have been exploring ZBrush for making the decorations for them. I have come up with a number of Inssert Mesh brushes that recreate embroidery stitches. They are probably (quite!) crude and could stand touching up by an expert, but (IMHO) for a beginner, they look just like the real things. Meant for high poly detail work, since I usually do still images and am not concerned about poly count, they could probably be baked down for low-poly work, I suppose.

(I should mention that the Satin Stitch is based on an idea by dmitry7365 in his thread… it helped me get the look I wanted…my original ‘Satin Stitch’ looked more like a ribbon, as I couldn’t figure out how to taper the ends, until I studied hos posting with screenshots of his work.)

Thanks so very much. Seems upon viewing your offering there at ShareCG I downloaded them but I guess I must have lost them in a crash or something so thanks again for posting again! HUGS

Hi Rosemaryr, these look very useful! Thanks for sharing…Pen

What an awesome collection!! Thanks everyone!

@Rosemary - awesome brushes! Thanks so much!

I would like to share one of my IMM Brushes for using with Pixologic’s ZBrush. I created this Brush out of my last project, which is a historic model of Christopher Columbus’ Ship “Santa Maria”. This IMM Brush is totally free - so you can pay nothing or you can give what you want! The Brush contains two different pulley types, as well as a anchor and a viewing platform… it’s nothing special but I hope some of you may like it

Very nice zipper brush. Thanks so much!

Thing strap with stitches for high heel shoes and suchIt’s not much but I made a curve brush that I use to make high heeled shoe straps and I thought I’d share. I couldn’t get the forum to just let me upload the zbrush file to the post so you’ll have to get it from my deviantart account. http://aachi-chan.deviantart.com/art/Strap-Small-With-Stitches-Zbrush-Insert-Mesh-brush-676266638

There are two versions - one with the stitches as a part of the geometry of the mesh and one with the stitches as seperate geometry from the mesh in case you want to alter the stitches. The straps themselves are also kind of thick but are set to a midway depth because I use them for 3D printing and I needed them to make sure there was no gaps between the strap and the foot the shoe straps would be on.

Thanks so much!

Great zipper brush! I always need clothing stuff. This will be handy

Many thanks for sharing this great zipper brush, much appreciated! :+1:

Can’t download ^^; can you upload a another link? ^^;

Hi all, thx for kind words
@TriplexJ - Link works perfectly, maybe some google drive issue (try to click window upright corner arrow for “download all”)

Hey All!
Watching Aiman Akhtar’s 3D printing videos. Anyone have a think for IMM Brushes to facillitate making 3D printed toys/
Thanks

Took me a while to figure out the metal pattern “anatomy” of the upcoming new MacPro 2019 - actually pretty simple - but I just love it.
