Hi,
I have the “foundations” of ZBrush/3Dsmax, just working with Zbrush now, but something I seem to be missing or not doing right, it’s always quality and the active points. Every time I see a tutorial video I see someone doing small details like eyelids and have a really low count of pollys/active points, and I always have a high count of pollys to do details like that and working on a small mesh…
I’m working on a female bust for a friend, I had to work with the body has separated object from the head so I could have a high poly count to work on details on the face. The moment I merged & dynameshed to merge them together, if I “divide” polly count goes really high, and the detail level stays low, and I want to do a video that will have close-ups.
I even downloaded a DynameshMaster tool, so I could dynamesh the 2 objects with a higher polly count so I wouldn’t lose the detail I worked on. (Would like a “ZRemesherMaster” but couldn’t find it. Dynamesh closes hollow points like a closed mouth that has an inside)
This is the bust, really simple, (it’s what my friend wants, a doll/robotic female like) but the eyes need more detail for the close-ups, thanks to DynameshMaster I didn’t lose much detail joining the body but the mouth now it’s closed and attached again instead of having an hollow inside.
