Cool technique
looks great, thanx for sharing usefull tips !!!
Here’s the final result of my explorations. Hope you like it, all done with zbrush 2.5d with a bit of colour correction.
GREAT EXPERIMENT…BEAUTIFUL END RESULT…
Outstanding!! And nice tutorial there!
been messing about with adding a texture to the fog channel, modeling and rendering in zbrush post effects filter forge
Looks kind of like an extreme birds eye view of a city.
Hi, cool stuff here. thanks for sharing.
I love the mood of the Tower sceen.
Here’s another little landscape study, thanks for your comments folks
Those landscapes are really quite remarkable. Thank you for the tutorial.
Best wishes to your family and bye for now.
Paul.
Thanks Paul. Here’s a little update to show where i’m going with this latest landscape. Still lots to do.
Great, cool ambience.Did you made the bell and the texture in zbrush?
Thanks Zaycoon. Everything is modeled in zbrush. The bell was made with a SweepProfile3D i then used alphas to add the detals, all the textures are mainly perlin noise made in filter forge and rendered in zbrush with a little post.
Still got a long way to go with this image, glad you like the progress.
Deleted image.
Your renders remind me a lot of the Lord of the Rings artwork. Awesome awesome awesome! The muted colors give a lot of age to the piece.
Still experimenting with rocks, i think i’ve got a workflow sorted now.
this looks like a … rock, gj
only problem is with the toxture dont fit all thst much with the cracks and teh details ;]
Thanks slocik, and thanks for the pointers about the texture. I’m on a mission to understand surface properties atm, i’ve learned so much just by doing these little exercises.
Here’s a head i’ve been working on, he’s a homeless guy and will eventually have a long hair beard.
Early days yet.
