GoZ and Maya 2011

Hey, guys.

I have ZBrush 4 on a 10.6, MacBook Pro.

Goz has always worked fine for me, with Maya 2011, until now.
Today, all of a sudden, it has stopped working, in both programs.

I can not think of anything i did but all i get now is ‘‘Incomplete file write detected, file(s) on disk are unchanged’’

I have tried to update the path to maya, force reinstall (all which it seems to do but nothing changes.

Anybody else had this?

Thanks for this. I also saved the script straight on to the shelf and now it is a nice button. Not the official one, but, it works. It has a Maya symbol on it.

In goZ preferences clear cache files and then force reinstall go Z . Try it should work. it worked for me.

Make sure if you have more than one copy of Maya on your system that you haven’t changed the name. The script looks for “Maya” not “Maya 2010 or Maya 2011”

The name has to be “maya”.

I’ve had my old ZBrush4 trial and regular ZBrush 4 on my computer for awhile now. The other day I decided to delete ZBrush 4 trial and now, GoZ won’t work in the regular ZBrush 4.

It won’t reset under Preferences
If I click “Force Reinstall”, no programs appear. If I click “Update all paths” nothing happens
If I click “GoZ” in the Tool menu, the following error appears:
“Unable to Open File, C:/users/Public/Pixologic/GoZBrush/Scripts/GoZ_ExportFromZBrush”

If I use the Maya Blend Shapes Export (which is how I found out that this was a problem), it says:
“Maya is not the selected GoZ application. Please select Maya as GoZ app and try again”
The option to select a new application under Preferences is grayed out.

What did I do?!?! and how do I fix this problem?

Before I completely reload ZBrush or initialize ZBrush, I want to see if there is another solution.

Of course, this happens to me right before a deadline

Just install the last GoZ update from the download center and it will be fixed.
By uninstalling the beta, the Pixologic folder in Users/Public has been removed (or its content).
