Flatten Polygroups?!

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question on flattening polygroups on a mesh in zbrush.

Within 3DS Max I can select the polygons I would like to flatten on a mesh and then use the X Y Z normal co-ordinates to flatten them out. Is this possible in Zbrush using polygroups and the zmodeller brush at all? I would simply like to iron the polygroups out in the same way - is this possible?!

Cheers guys!

Easiest way I can think of is to use transpose line to “trim” it.

Draw out the transpose line so it’s perpendicular to the surface you want to flatten and then left click and drag back, inward toward the surface on the inner red circle on the bottom transpose circle until it flattens.

You’ll need to make sure your transpose trim function is also turned on under preferences > transpose > enable transpose trim

Cheers Eric!
