naturally. he’s a great technician.
but this is what I found on his front page:

I found this so daunting that I lost all heart, and left the site with barely a glance.

artists can be categorized in thinking and immature people as well. just like the rest of society.

I expect I know the reaction these words would generate on his behalf, and understand that it is better to try to ignore an artist’s personality and just dig into their art. But then again, you’re missing out on half the fun, knowing that his/her inspiration is blemished by immaturity.

To prevent negativities here on this thread, I have to point out that if he didn’t want his opinions discussed, if he didn’t consider this statement as something fundamental to his way of thinking and way of life, then he wouldn’t have put it on the front page.

but perhaps I am overreacting.

I loved his “methods of painting” tutorial, though.

cneofotistos, I have to agree with you that his front page also made me wince (i.e I found it in bad taste). I don’t like zealots no matter what be their cause. However, I still enjoyed looking at his Fantasy Artwork and found it very inspirational.

So to cheer you up here is joke from Steven Wright.

The way I look at it, is a person has to go through a thought process before they say or write something. If he did not think that way he would not have written it.
