exporting displacements issue

Hey Everyone,

Im trying to export displacement maps for a character that I sculpted in zbrush, however the geometry seems to distort (only from the mouth it seems) every time a new displacement is made, it doesnt seem to affect the displacements. Im using multi tile’s and all of the uv’s are within the boundaries and arent touching the borders. I had exported displacement maps from the same character without problems before, but I changed the uv layout and then brought it back in zbrush using GoZ which is where the problems started.

Ive found once the displacement is done it returns to the lowest sub division level and the mesh is fine but as soon it subdivides to start the next displacement map it distorts even more, could this just be a glitch or a problem with my mesh?

The setting Im using for the displacements is (SubDiv level 3, Adaptive off, Smooth UV off, Flip V On, 3 channels ON, DPSubPix 4, Mid 0, Scale 1 and 32bit exr. Im using zbrush 4r7.

One last question Ive read on a forum that DPsubPix isn’t necessary to use for exporting displacement, is this true?
