Experi-mental Sketchbook

Another true bannerman masterpiece! :+1:

Kindly folks, many thanks for your uplifting replies.

I have past life memories of somewhere soft, fluffy and frivolous.
Perhaps I was for a brief moment a mosquito on the thigh of a can-can dancer.

I shall spend this life trying to remember.

Yours etc,

The Flooze

Such a good job! And the clouds look appetizing.

ā€¦Many thanks Lexxx69.

I really like your imagination. Each piece tells a cool story and with some humor.

Great job. :+1:

Thank you Tonare.

boozy floozie, very very cute characters! They remind me of my childhood.
About the books with beautiful illustrations, that was reading my Mom for me.
Thank You!

Bravo! Your work is always delightful!

Cheers, David

Thank you David and thank you Lexxx69.

Celtic river dwellers - graphite in tonality and set in a fading flickering light.
A place where a beguiling gloom comes in on the tide. Should you have ever visited Scotland you will know we call that feeling Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

He That Marches Sideways

Wow!! What a treat! You have many talents showing here. One talent to point out ā€“ that I truly appreciate is your ability to invent fresh backgrounds that go so well with the main front images. I am curious as to what is your day job? If these donā€™t see the light of day in some kind of bookā€¦ or series of books, well, my life will be missing something wonderful. So will my bookshelf.

:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1: nice post Mark pleasant shapes !! great character !

Ooh - thank you both most kindly.
ArtBot - my day job is artist - as is my night job. These creatures of the Clyde (see above) will be on a wonderful forthcoming music cd - ā€œMonsters In The Quay Of Seaā€ for Glasgow musician Tom Baird - as well as sold as art prints. I am a fan of Tomā€™s music so it was a lovely job to work on.

A couple of character close ups from my two earlier previous posts.
A little Boozy up close - intimate even.

Such a wonderful world you are creating.
As a musician I especially like the glasgow render.

Poetic! Romantic! Unusual!

You work is like a sculpting storyboard!

Very cool work again Booz!

A tonic for my eyes, thank you.

Still a bit gutted for the fish that never swam if Im honest though.

jmeyer ; lovely to hear from you and thank you.
Thank you Leonid - lovely to put a name to your online moniker.
Tonare - thank you.
Shavedmonkey - no fished was harmed in the making of this image. I promise.

A ZBrush retrospective image from 2008. Which version was that -3?
I have posted little for many years so Iā€™m guessing I could fill up the forum thumbnails in an avalanche of my doodling. I wonā€™t.

A gentle romantic piece for the artist James Yorkston and Domino records - a collectors boxset full of Boozy artwork which was great pleasure to work on. I should have posted this at the time but being a Daddy got in the way

The video doesnā€™t show all the artwork but itā€™s nice to see what music means to people. And no I didnā€™t design the badge
