Hey guys, I’ve gotten many requests to make my Eye Workflow into PDF form so it’s easily downloadable. Here it is. Thanks again for all of your support!

Really appreciate it, thanks!

many thanks i been looking for this

Hey guys, here’s a mouth I just finished texturing and rendering for the time being. Hoping to use this for future characters.
I used a great mesh for the base that can be found at www.makehuman.org. Edited the UV’s in Maya 2013 and then exported into Zbrush for texturing.
The texturing was done with both polypainting and spotlight. I’m quickly finding out how powerful Zbrush can be for many parts of a production pipeline!

This guy started out as a speed sculpt I decided to finish off. From a DynaSphere and QRemesher. I plan on using the eyes and mouth that I’ve previously posted to finish it off. After adding a few more details it will be time to polypaint, render and comp.
C&C Welcome as always!

Thanks a lot for sharing the Eye creation.

My only critic is that the final eye is reflecting too much light and its perfectly rounded. Looks more like a glass eye than a real eye in this sense.

I would combine the results of yours to the final “eye ball” of this one:
http://www.creativecrash.com/tutorials/realistic-eye-modeling-for-3d-characters/page2

Your iris is better as well as the lights reflecting on it for sure. but I like the way the other model white of the eye shines.

Vlad

Hello all,

Heres a quick update on the Grumpy Dude. Don’t have a real name for him yet but the polypainting is finished… off to render and comp

Hello everyone,

Here’s the Grumpy Dudes final composition. Sculpted from a dynamesh sphere, textured, lit and rendered in Zbrush and the composite was done in Photoshop. What’s the story behind this guy?

I’m calling him Earl

C&C Welcome as always!
