Another thing I must say is your work is incredible. You’ve done a lot of pieces. I never expected your work to be expansive. You’ve literally sculpted everything and everything and everyone. Tribute to James Earl Jones as Thulsa Doom from Conan the Barbarian.
He was the voice of Darth Vader, the father of Luke Skywalker, the voice of Mufasa, Simba’s father, as well as Thulsa Doom who told Conan that he made him who he is, and was in that sense his true father.
I’ve started this portrait when I heard of his passing, and have used only Zbrush to create it. The approach was traditional without tracing or simulation. Portrait and the rest of the body with clothes were sculpted manually from observation, as well as detailed and polypainted by hand. Retopologized using a combination of zsphere manual retopology, zremesh. UV master and automatic UV tiles were used to transfer the textures to Marmoset Toolbag where it was rendered.
