Thats pretty cool mate! Are u using HDRI for your render or just maya lights?
A couple of crits, the perspective seems a bit much and the background could be a little less grainy! It generally turned out nicely! keep it up!!! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

meletis: Thanks. I am just creating lights from the menu. Whatever the standard ones are. Should I create them through the hypershade? Any suggestions?

You should try adding an environment globe from the render settings>indirect lighting and put a nice hdr image on there and switch on final gather. Gives more realistic lighting!

Looks good. The ears need some more definition which I’m sure you’re aware of, and unless he is meant to have large pouty lips you might want to make them thinner and less wide horizontally, but otherwise everything is looking spot-on.

Watching the progress has been fun over the past few months. You have really progress in your skill. Keep up the great work! :+1:

I am finally finding a few hours here and there to finally dive into this awesome tool and learn it in more than a cursory knowledge. It is so powerful!

No, no new thread, always other issues to take care of between painting and clay sculpting and the like. Glad to see things are progressing here though, I’ll get my other thread back up at some point.
