Cylinder remesh problem

I guys! I’m following a tutorial to learn Zbrush and I’m supposed to Remesh a cylinder, something really simple, but it’s not working at all.

It’s a 32 sides cylinder with no face under, then I remesh, and instead of giving me a round perfect cylinder with more topology,it’s a mess.

I included a picture of what it looks like(not my picture, but it’s the same thing) I found no answer on the internet, except one, which is not working.

Thanks!

what are your setting for remesh?
have you x simmetry on?

Symmetry is off,I tried a lot of setting but the one in the tutorial is : Res 64 Polish 20

Make your Model more bigger (change the size of the Model a bit more), and then try it again.
Dynamesh has problem with small pices, if you remesh it.
Sometimes dynamesh create therefore holes, if a pice is too small for a remeshing in dynamesh.

Are you taking about Remesh, or Dynamesh?

I’m talking about Remesh, sorry,it’s under Subtool, and need to click Remesh All to do it.

Also,I’ve tried doing it bigger, still not working

I don’t follow what you are trying to do. If it’s an old tutorial, some stuff may have been changed.

In your result. ARE you showing the original cylinder and the resulting remesh? Remesh creates a new subtool, and if you show both subtools, it can look funny.
