Custom ZPlugs not auto-loading

TLDR: I have a custom UI button placed in the ZPlugs folder but it will not auto-load when starting ZBrush.

I followed this thread for making custom UI buttons which works fantastically (thank you @marcus_civis). I placed my new txt file in the ZStartup/ZPlugs folder and restarted ZBrush, which gave me a .zcs file. Only problem, I have to load the script every time I launch ZBrush.

I’ve tried Store Config and saving the UI layout but feel like that doesn’t really have any affect on the auto-loading anyways. Am I missing a step?

Hi @GeoBrd

Did you click the “ZScript > Load” button as marcus_civis suggested?

Once you have a ZSC file, as ZBER2 says, you need to put it in the ZPlugs64 folder. The ZPlugs folder is no longer used. (I’ve no idea why it’s still there!)

Hi, thank you both for taking the time to help. I did load it as instructed ZBer2, that was the only way I was getting it to load. Marcus, that did the trick. I think I added the ZPlugs folder because I was just following the steps on the other thread to a ‘t’, figuring I’d need both folders.
