That is awesome! He is a deserving talent. I’ve gone to his website, and the work there is top-notch. I think we all ought to get over to Renderosity and send him some congrats. I doubt he visits here much anymore.
His art is very good, but, from reading the interview, he seems a little arrogant. It’s almost as if he’s trying to portray himself as “eccentric Artist” and it seems rather forced.
Edit: Actually, after reading the interview again, I think it may just be the old “language barrier” rearing it’s ugly head. And maybe a small touch of arrogance
what i gathered from the interview is that he is from greece, and may speak english in a different manner…personally, i didn’t find the interview to be arrogant at all…but that is my opinion ;o)

Just to clarify matters. Slosh you may not realise but Christos has been banned.
Hookflash. this is a link to christos’ last thread. It may be what some refer to as “arrogant” others just see it as him sharing his knowledge in his own inimitable style.

Banned, yes, but correct me if I’m wrong, Pixologic can’t stop anyone from reading the posts. I read all the time from work, but don’t log in, therefore cannot comment.
Hanuman: Looks like all the offensive posts in that thread have been deleted. The posts that remain seem fairly reasonable. On a side note, is it true that Hanuman == Christos? If so, do the moderators realize this?

Congrats to Christos Neofotistos for being selected ‘artist of the month’. He is very classically talented…and yes just a tad arrogant too. However, he is a young artist and has a great future in front of him. Best wishes to him…well deserved.
Congratulations to Christos, an award I feel he fully deserves. He is clearly very talented, and perhaps it should not be too surprising if that brings with it a little arrogance - there are plenty of precedents amongst our foremost artists over the ages.
I am very sorry to learn that he has been banned - particularly as it appears to have been prompted by the thread that Hanuman pointed to on page 1.
Whilst I took issue at the time with some of his views as I understood them, and admittedly parts of the thread did get somewhat heated and a little personal, I would not have considered it justification for banning him (or anyone else). The action taken by the moderator at the time in deleting and editing certain items seemed to me correct and appropriate, but sufficient unto the day.
It is good to hear that he is continuing to do well, but I wish also that he was still contributing to the Forum.
