First, nice modeling pal, good work.
Here is my point. It looks like a panda, not a bear…Emm…yes panda is a kind of bear. What do you think? If you replace the color brown to the black and set white color to the nose and eyes.
And I think you need to add some hair to this panda man or bear man, whatever…it could be better named it panda man, in my opinion.

Well I guess he kinda looks like a panda bear (or even like a fat dog, Pilou 
), just to see how he would look I’ll try to change the colours soon.
As for the hair, if I had any clue as how to do that, he would be furry all over.
I’ll have to dig up some tutorials on the forum to see how to do it. (does adding hairs make a model more heavy in terms of computing power? or can you only add decent hairs after you snap the model to the canvas (right lingo?))
I’m going to do some research.

Really cool, i like very much the idea of a bear-man. I agree that the serious modelling was my favourite, now that you painted I feel like the tip of the nose looks a little doggish, too round i think, … would suggest to take a look at some bear pics…
