Hi all, just some really quick questions regarding the UI, if anyone can help.
A) Can you set default values for Panel loops, so you don’t have to keep changing it each time?
B) Is there a way to disable the prompts when you select certain brushes or masking tools, like "This brush will be selected as the sculpting smoothing-brush.
Press Shift key and click to use it." etc. those kind of prompts.

A) These settings are saved on a per tool basis. Once you set them and save them with the file they will be remembered for that Tool. You cannot save them as startup settings. It may be possible to create a script that automates the setting of those values.
B) You can disable those warnings for the session by checking the “do not show this again” option. It is by design that warnings for certain functions that may result in data loss or may be confused for a serious technical issue cannot be completely disabled, and will always be seen at least once per session. In the case of the brush message, this happens when you are selecting a brush that, unlike most other brushes, will not otherwise appear for the user unless the correct mode is activated.

Just to add to Spyndels “B” suggestion, If you want to use a Masking or Mesh brush, hold down Ctrl first then select your brush. If you want to use a Clip, Knife, Selection, Slice or Trim brush, hold down Ctrl+Shift first then select your brush from the brush palette. Not only will you be able to find your brush quicker and easier because it will only show those brushes, it will also eliminate the pop up messages as well.
