I’m sufficiently blown away by this feature list! 
One question… I’m not entirely clear on what those new alpha functions do… but do any of them make it so you can paint second material unto an object without hard edges? I was hoping that would make it in to cut down on the old baking trick.
Go Pixologic!!! This is unlike anything I could ever have imagined. I can only guess at the amazing amount of work that has gone into creating this, but I don’t have to guess about the quality of this release: it will be incredible!

What versions of Windows will ZB2 run on? I’m running Windows98SE.
Spent a lot of time carefully reading up on all the new features of Z2. It’s going to be a long two weeks of waiting! Hoping that in addition to all the fantastic new stuff Z2 can do that all the older features (like texture master and exporting to other 3D apps) have gotten their fair shake down too. 
Yeah? Show me the book. I want hardcopy docs.

Wow. I’m excited. I have been away from ZBrush for several months (learning other, complementary software like LW and PS), but this should suck me right back to my favorite piece of software ever.

Here I am a new user of Zbrush…sort of…I had an NFR copy awhile back, so my recent purchase will have me learning it all over again…
I cannot wait for Z2!!!
I am really excited about the MP and HT support as well…I cannot wait to put my daul rig to great use!
anyway, thanks for making a great product and i cannot wait for Z2…wait, I said that already!

Alas, the electricity used while reading the electronic manual isn’t great for the environment either. At least the trees are safe…unless they burn wood at the electricity generator…
Everything is hydro-electric around here thank goodness. There are still a few coal burning stations though, but I think they only see heavy use in winter when demand is higher.
I too have been away from Zbrush for some time now. I tend to drift from interest to interest with photography generally being my primary one. Z2 definitely has a lot of great new features that will certainly bring me back into the fold. Was even thinking of selling my Wacom Intuos2 9x12 at one point but now I think I’ll keep it a bit longer. 
So, the thing that I think is the coolest about Z2? Well, from looking at the thread over at CGTalk, it looks like Z2 is going to bring in a lot of new talent. Probably even some of the Zbrush naysayers from days gone past. The fact that WETA used it is turning a lot of heads in the industry me thinks.
Only one more week to go! Woo hoo!
