I have a work around reagrding our issue of us licencing the software, and then it saying it’s unlicenced the next time we run it.
A colleague here spoke to the guys up the road at SCEE who had the same problem. They got around it by activating each machine twice. Both times as the user. I have just done this on the two machine I had 3.5 R2 on and it seems to work - even across reboots / log out. It moans about the machine already being licenced, but you can still request another code.
However I want to know if it means we are using up 2 of our activations per machine this way - which obviously would be bad.
I do hope the licence system gets more robust soon. I dread to think the amount of artist and sysadmin time we have lost due to Z-Brush activation issues over the last few years!
