3RD Eye Blind (ZTool Download)

The direct link to the model is a bit twitchy

If you go here:
http://www.sharecg.com/v/34793/3D-Model/3RD-EYE-BLIND

You can download the model almost right away. It’s still not perfect, but it seems to work a little better.

EDIT:

Woops sorry! Looks like Nick already fixed this.

great ! thanks for sharing !

Those MatCaps remind me of Curvy3d lightmaps many years ago. Good to see the idea has hit the mainstream.

Awesome!:+1:

Sweet Work!

Thanks Nick looking foward to trying this out.

first off, i want to just say, WOW! great concept and EXECUTION. the angles and the organic… perfect. it feels so organic even as angular and hard as it is. youre the first person ive seen post that has not only pulled it off, but let me, as the veiwer, stunned, go, “oh, so THATS how it could look like.” like a surprise. like you gave something that we didnt even know we wanted, because we didnt even really know what we were looking for until you showed it to us. NICE JOB, man…!!! really really nice job. i wanted to say something in critique. and i dont even feel worthy as an artist to give a critique, but as an audience member, thats the fashion i want to speak in… o.k. The flat version of the model i think works better than the version with the red face and the deep shadow and high spec. i dont know. it just seemed so right. like, it was alien and brilliant, and then you added the last real world touches to it and somehow slightly robbed what you had captured. like the spec and the skin pink skin shading. i really dont want to sound insulting, because both versions are amazing, but as an artist myself, sometimes when you work, you reach a point of eurika! but you have to keep working and finishing, and when you look at it finished it itches because something was lost that you had, and once youve stared at the model for days or weeks, you just wish you could freshen your eyes so you could figure out what it was. in my opinion, as an observer and audience member, not as an artist, i think you should keep the flat orange and white and deep grey colors and find a way during lighting to have them retain their bold flatness. because it is other worldly. it makes sense for an aliens attire to not follow guidlines. it makes sense for an alien to not follow guidlines. and his face looks really cool flat grey. but i may be the only one who thinks this way. but as the observer, it was that version that really took my breath away, and for those reasons. AMAZING WORK!!! BEST OF THE BEST!!! you inspired me, big time. Thank You for that.

DUDE!!!
AMAZZING!!!

Very nice model and stuffs, congrats!
