Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Characters

Hello guys,

Nicely done brother. Hopefully, you should get a plug out of this. :slight_smile: Out of interest, how long does, say, one of the knights take to create from start to end? What’s your typical workflow?

hi man, well for all the ennemies/guard we took 3 weeks from start to finish to make them all together, the textures are shared between each others. basically i worked on the cloth&leather parts and my pal Laurent Sauvage worked on the metal parts , we were working in the same time on all the elements and eventually comp it all together in a few texture maps. That’s the only characters we’ve done like this, because we had to deliver the whole gang in a short time. usually one model is done entirely by one artist.

The models are already looking great, provided they do look like they haven’t been shaded yet with the full-use of the powerful materials.(like reflection, SSS, differing spec decays and eccentricity, anistropic specularity).

very nice. The ingame models are super clean

love these models. so i guess Zbrush was used on basemeshes for high res detailing and texture painting and generating maps.

Every time i see these models i’m surprised at how low poly the base mesh is given the detailing on the finished highpoly models.

Congrats on the release guys! Once again an impressive set of models. Looks like it was fun making them.
