Hello again, I made some updates on my futuristic soldier and I want to share it. It was an exercise of zsketching with zspheres II. I imported a human base and I model the armor over it with the new zspheres II in Zbrush at the beggining. Later I made a pose with transpose and added some details like the rifle, the magazines, eyes..
here is the final test, 2 days for the guy and 1 for the rifle and others (only high poligon model in zbrush) what is a good test of scketching. Cheers! Angel |

I like the natural pose you put him in. He looks very fluid and smooth to his movement or a reload. I would put more details to the gun like bolts, rivets (hold it together) and some deep thin lines to make it look like it was put together. Maybe add a saftey/auto/single file switches to it too. Your armor is so detailed that the gun looks almost too plain. I still like it but I would throw more detail at it.
Good job man. I dig it. |

danko75 and m0delista - thank you very much!
mokthemagicman - you are right I didn´t spend more than 3 hours with the gun, it would be much better sure, but it was a good practice for me. Thanks dude! |

I really like the pose, the rifle and the armor you have used.
I also like the hood design and the ribbing on the hood itself. I hope you keep the fine mesh on the lower back or use it more liberally, I noticed it was not on your grey renders. Looking forward to more shot. Could you share some of the rifle process pics (subdiv levels)? Thanks |

![]() d100763 - thanks for ur comments, let me see if I can show u some screens of the process for the gun today ok? Ardox - thanks dude for the stars and your words working with the new brushes is great, try the new zspheres II with zsketch! I made the gear in 8 hours, and the full model with gun and pose in aproximatelly 2 days or 3. It is very cool indeed. |

Hi "d100763" here I made a screen with my making of the gun. It tookme 3 or 4 hours aprox. I used normal brushes and masking with the pen (no any special alpha) moving some parts with transpose because for me it is easier than inflat sometimes (it depends on the situation) and I used hpolish to make a better shape to the rifle in the corners.
cheers! |
