Hi all,
as many people out there I've been looking at all these beautiful works for a long time ; I started learning Zbrush "seriously", so I started with a polysphere, sculpted it, did the remeshing, then detailed it. I haven't finished it yet, but I think it's barely worth showing : Like I said, C&C welcome ! ;] Last edited by Mawh : 08-22-09 at 09:53 AM. |

Mawh,
Good choice to stop with your 'Craniel' piece... it's crisp, clean, and needs nothing more. There is a great temptation to overwork things in ZBrush -- partly because detailing is easy in ZB. When learning any new medium or tool -- it is important to play and experiment... to get comfortable... to discover tools, techniques and styles that work for you. Best Wishes, Darrel |

Thank you groBoto, you are totally right. I understand we're easily tempted to keep on detailing, when sometimes our mesh is quite done - or needs a more "profound" rework.
A little step forward : Last edited by Mawh : 01-03-10 at 07:48 AM. |

Thanks man !
Can't sculpt nice ears with that few polygons... (it's about 1.5MP) and my computer can't handle more. Maybe after the remeshing... Anybody knows how to sculpt eyes ? Last edited by Mawh : 01-03-10 at 10:16 AM. |
