With <b>3D</b><b>P</b><b>rint Exporter</b> you will be able to export your favorite ZTool in <b>STL</b> and <b>VRML</b> file formats, opening you to the world of <b>3D Printing</b>.

Who has never dreamed about having your virtual sculpting in "real" 3D, standing on your desk? Now it's possible for you to print your ZBrush models:
  • Sculpt your art with ZBrush
  • Optimize if needed your model with the Decimation Master plugin
  • Export it with 3D Print Exporter
Main features
  • Export in STL, Binary and Ascii.
  • Export in VRML.
  • Size in Inches and millimeters.
  • Export the current or all the SubTools.
"The new decimation and STL exportation tools have filled the weakest link in my work flow from creation to fabrication. you could spend many thousands of dollars and not get a better decimator or translator." T.S. Wittelsbach - House of Wittelsbach - Jeweller
"The 3D Print Exporter continues to save my life on a daily basis. The quality I'm able to get out of ZBrush as a usable file that my other programs can handle has made me a happy camper. You have just opened up a new world for me!."
     <b>Adam Ross - Idol Workshop</b>

"Finally! - a direct export from ZBrush to print format! This tool will help decrease the time it takes to get a ZBrush sculpture ready for 3d print production, and open up the services of most 3D Printing Service Bureaus."<b>
Bill Henderson - Creative Director - Offload Studios Inc.</b>

"Going from the final design to rapid protoyping ready parts has been a timely production within itself... That has now been eliminated with Decimation Master and the 3D Printer Exporter plugin for ZBrush. The ability to go directly from ZBrush to a optimized scaled prototype part, eliminating any other software in between, is priceless. Once again Pixologic turns the technical to art."

awesome again!!

wow again

Wow! Is there any polygonal restrictions for printing? Or a level detail that won’t show up in a print?

I think I might require my students to turn in a 3d print from now on!
Who wants to give me a discount for quantity?

Perfect!!!

That´s fantastic. Oh my god! I just woke up and I had to rub my eyes.
My sister has a 3D printer in her goldsmith-school and I would only have to pay for the material. The only problem (providing that I have a cool model one day which is worth it to be printed lol:slight_smile: ) is that she told me weeks ago that she can´t do it with a ztl.file.
I searched for a software via internet and everything sounded sooo complicated.
(Too complicated for me. ) And I realized that I´ll never be able to do that.
3D Printexporter – Fantastic news!
I guess there are a few things I´m missing… this sounds too good to be true…
?
For example the guys at Offload seem to work on the models after receiving the files and they optimize them as far as I know.
But I have nothing to loose if I try it.

Does anybody know if it´s possible to burn the files on a CD?
I tried once to burn a data CD with ztl.files but it didn´t work.

Thanks a lot Pixologic! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

oh i want… maybe someday.

This, and the Decimation plugin, the doors pixologic is opening up will never close again…whats next? my mind is spinning with ideas. many thanks i wont be sleeping tonight.

WOW, this is perfect!
This one and Decimation is just what I needed
Thank you pixologic team

Pixologic Rules! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: ! Thank you!!!

Again! Great pluggin!! Anyone fancy donating me a 3D print so I can use this thing? :D:+1:

Seriously, when I stop being poor, this is one of the first plug-ins I will use!!

Well done!

This and the last plugin are very cool!

Can anyone recommend a good (preferably UK based) 3D print company?

Thanks

MX

Thank you… it’s Awesome…!!! :+1:

OMG! This is awesome!
Thank you Pixologic!

Great… now the game begins… how about a full article on 3D printers on the market and maybe a world wide list of 3D Printing Providers…
If T.S. Wittelsbach is happy then it says a lot, as I love his work…

Ziggy
