I usually hang around conceptart.org, but lately I've given ZBrush another try (after failing major the last time I touched the program ZB2..)
Thanks to the comunity, great tutorials and pure inspiration I've wipped up some sculpts. All of them are speedies, which to me means under two hours max. First one is my first try, second my seond try, ect. Hope you guys see a progress and perhaps get some kind of kick out of my 3D's. Chris these first four were just foolin around. Trying to learn while I at the same time just have fun... this one changed so muh over such little time! from human, to alien, to turtle-creature... my first try at zspheres, actually not bad I loved this idea, even though I still struggle with mouth areas... hehe, what can I say he is big-headed.

Hiya Hive mind, Welcome to zbrushcentral
I think the most important thing with Zbrush is that you just have fun using it and play around until your start getting more confident, and it sure looks like you've been enjoying it ^^. There's a clear progression here which is great to see. The snake creature is particularly funky! If i were to give one tip, it would be get your shape and form really strong before going into the detail. As far as the mouth area goes, i struggle with it too, try going down to a low subdivision and pushing the shape about with the move tool on a low brush size. These are looking really good though, keep it up! |

~Lloiger : Thanks mate! I'll make sure to keep your comments and tips for the next sculpts!
I've got a math exam closing in soon, so litte time is spendt on havin' fun. But I thought I might as well post something I started a while ago. My friend requested a goblin. To me this turned out as a crossed breed between goblin and orc. .. . oh well ![]() Chris

~AA-ron : Cheers mate! Looking forward to it myself
![]() Here is another speedy, though I believe I spent 2,5 hours on this one. It is based on one of Bjørn Hurri's concepts. He is totally my favourite artist! I used one of the downloadable head meshes from pixologic to start with. Hope you like it, even though it could use some more work... Chris

under 45 minutes each of pure fun. Used the same plain simple head basemesh on them. I actually had 2 more, but since ZBrush crashed several times, and my lack of saving enough...
Chris petty ZBrush crashed... this was the worst of them my favourite of them

Good stuff I was impressed by the "turtle" creatures design ,to me it is reminiscient of a barnacle creature as well.

They're looking great Chris! Particularly like the last one, he's got a really strong profile. I think perhaps his eyes could be a little further apart, but no crits other than that. Planning on shoving a body onto any of these chaps?

~Lloiger : I should, but for now ZB is only play, which means speedies. Hopefully soon!
Some more late night stuff. The ones I like the best, more to come at any time... Chris
