Default Stary piernik

This head was my comeback to rendering as displaying basic models doesn't cut it for me anymore. Nor do I feel like butchering models down to lowpoly for my portfolio.
Relearning rendering was pain. Initially I was doing it with mental fail however at some point it flat out refused to render so I had to switch to 3delight. At least I could slap subpixel displacements on everything.

Silo+Zbrush+Photoshop+XSI+3delight.

Lighting is AO + several lights. No GI unfortunatelly because color bleeding didn't want to work with skin at this stage and I don't feel like waiting for a bugfix.

Really good work...nice to see a 3delight render here.

I love the look of your sking detailing in ZB, very organic looking.

love to see your material setups for 3delight in XSI.

awesome, very realistic render, can you share your xsi materials and lighting setup. It's really great works. It's final piece or are you going to improve it?

Default Most Excellent!

Piotr,
Very, very nice work!!! There is a lot of character in the model, and I really like your cloth textures and wrinkles. I'm looking forward to any new works that you do, so please keep us posted. I'm fairly sure this deserves Top Row .

Perfect work!
A standing in rain version would be awesome but i guess it would be
a lot of work.
