Hi there
![]() The first example was done in an external program. The second ones are sculpted and loop pretty wobly. If you want round shoelaces you can use zspheres and it should be quicker than any other program but if you want real looking ones zbrush isnt the best option. cheer ![]()

Have a look at my thread about these boots I made. I posted images of the shoe laces I made with zspheres -

Ok, thank you!
Round Shoelaces can be done in ZBrush, thats makes sense! ![]() If i want create flat Shoelaces it is easier to create it with programs like Autodesk Maya. But i can also create flat Shoelaces in ZBrush, too! Isn't it? I think i can create round shoelaces and than i can smooth it until they are flat enough. So i dont know where the problem is to create flat shoelaces in ZBrush. ![]()

Well you can try but you will discover that smoothing something round in
zbrush wont make it flat Flatten brush makes things flat but using that on shoelaces will probably result in all kind of funkyness. Also if you dont see any problem why dont you just do it ![]() Flat shoelaces like in your first picture are most likely a spline with a rectangular shape defining the shape of the sweep profile.
