Hello, Hello,
I posted some WIP of this earlier this month in my sketchbook thread, but I thought I'd give it its own thread. This sculpt is based off of one of the aliens in the 2009 Star Trek Movie. I feel I did OK, but I really want some C&C

I haven't seen the movie as yet (I'm DYIN' I tell ya!), but strictly speaking of the creature sculpt itself, I think it's wonderful. Good proportions, nicely done wrinkles and the polypaint is very well done (I see you used the Ryan Kingslein method...works great).
Keep sculpting....I'd love to see more.

Montana, you need to see Star Trek. Its awesome(bring sunglasses though)!!! Thanks for the compliment. I actually never heard of Ryan Kingslein yet, but I will take a look at his stuff.

I don't know the new film and I found only one reference of this alien...
I don't know if in the image it is more red than yours because of the lighting or if the color scheme is not the same, and maybe there is more wrinkles around the eyes... but your sculpt is awesome, I like it a lot |

Yea, D2C. I was lucky enough to stumble upon the actual maquette they used for the movie. In the picture u found there are red lights going off on the enterprise. That's why he looks so red.
more C&C!
