    Default milano sketchbook 2011

I wanted to start a new thread for the year, starting off with previous work I am proud of. I remember how daunting it was seeing all the great work posted on ZBC after first finding the site and using ZBrush, but what a great community. I can't tell you how much easier it was to pick up the program with everyone sharing their images, workflow, and feedback.

    Thanks Hankins!

Here is a render of a speedcsulpt I modified, and rendered with Vray in Maya. I used to use vray in Max years ago, and happy it is available for Maya now. The bottom image is the sculpt from zspheres after 2 hours, hour at lunch and hour at home.

Some stuff I've been doing at lunch the past couple weeks. Any comments on the horse are greatly appreciated, working from random images I can find online.

Ok, I'll admit I clicked to see the horse, which is marvelous, but that bug... is cute as a bug.

the torso is great work, but i can't see the tension that should be present when a body bends that much. none the less great work.

Really nice. Love the textures and anatomy of the body. The muscles just need to have some flexing and movement. Muscles change shapes as the body moves around. Keep these coming.
