I was going for a very rough/raw clay look. I've seen a lot better but it was fun trying it out.

Just now going through this thread Soulty, and loving your clay renders! The Venom one, especially, has a very unique non-CG look.

Personally, I love seeing the hand of the artist in the finished work, so having evidence of rake strokes, pits, etc. makes for an eye-appealing finished product.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I see what you mean. I think I had the rear light set too high and too bright. It doesnt really match the background sun either.

Made some edit's to Spidey and rerendered for my portfolio. He's based of Humberto Ramos' Spectacular spiderman.
