Base texture is done, THIS IS THE BASE TEXTURE. NOT THE FINAL TEXTURE.

this is just to cover him in skin like substance

I adjusted the proportions of his hands and feet and shoulders, and finished the hands.

And yes I'm toying with the idea of hair, we shall see.

His top abs are defined. Much like someone tribal would have. An 8 pack is not too many my friend

Also look at frazetta's work. He over emphasizes the lower abs.

yeah now it looks natural! grate fixes you did there! I know its very hard to build muscles from memory, I always use reference.

Oh and well, even frazetta had it wrong. the human body just doesnt have 8 packs of abs. you got it right now!

There are indeed 8 packs. just google image it. The top set of muscles that fall under the pecs, aren't technically "Abdominals, but they fall into that 8 pack category. And, my friend, Frazetta knew more than any of us ever will.
Buy you were right about them not look natural, I guess for the pose they weren't as they should.
and thank you for your words.

And thank you everyone else for the same.

taking a break from the Aztec, tribal thingy guy to do something a little different.

An odd take on a new render of my clown

    joe-pantoliano.jpg

Its just an idea, I might continue it, I might not. I'll be doing some other sketching as well tomorrow to keep the hand loose. Might record myself, we shall see.
