    @pappete: thanks

    had an idea to do more than one zombie, so I'm taking a freelance model I did, and I'm going to zombify him.

    Default Alien Head

    Something I did on lunch in the lab. I want to continue this into a 1950s alien with the tin foil suit and stuff.

    Nice asymmetry, looks pretty convincing as a realistic alien sculpt. Almost reminds me of a realistic interpretation of Piccolo from Dragonball Z haha.

    thank you my good sir

    Been Doing some more tests, tweaking it here and there.

    This is all BPR, the only thing that this shader doesn't really respond well to is colored lights at extreme angles, something about the shine seems off, but nothing that could be corrected in Post.

    here is the default lighting and a snapshot lighting. I would go more extreme, but you get the picture. I used a copied material with higher sharper spec for the lips, the material needs to be modified to feel a bit dryer, even with some spec. I'm going to look into playing with his settings. But so far, I'm really impressed.

    Love that last color render. An orange highlight is still coming in strong on the antennae though, is it from the sss or the shader, possibly from the thinness of the mesh itself? I don't know for sure, but great job so far with the BPR.

    yea thats the sss, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the settings, I'll post some other tests soon. I want to do a realistic cloth shader like borden did with skin. I think we can all benefit from a general material shader, maybe one for steel as well. I've got alot on my mind, just sorting through it all.

    great work matthew, keep it going mate.
    Awesome render on the last BPR Render - looks very realistic and I love it. May I What SSS Shader you are using? is it that one from "borden"?
    the suit you are planning on fits his personality well, when you're saying your going for the classic scifi look.
    Can't wait to see this done and get mindblown again hihi

    and now for something completely different...Pocoyo. All done in one day, well two half days, okay like a couple of hours.

    seriously it was for money, I know...don't judge me.

    LoL nice, Pocoyo! My daughter loves that show. In the end, they are still good sculpts (they look exactly like they should)
