Thank you very much Mr. Pop! I am glad I took a little brake from him and picked him up again after. There's just certain things you stop noticing after staring at them for too long

    More soon!

    Hey guys!

I wanted to share a quick update with you all in regards to the Brock Samson model. He still has a ton if texture work ahead of him, but as usual, I got ahead of myself and built a little rig for him to see how he'd look animated.
    You can see it here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSmGZOWrMgM

The animation is very rough and glitchy, but I just wanted to share him moving (And it sucks that YouTube makes everything in your video 10.000.000x darker)

Let me know what you think!

    Thank you so much guys!

Here are a couple of renders from the MAX viewport (in real-time) of my Brock Samson model.

Still very much a WIP, haven't really had the time to move into further detailing him in Zbrush. I'll also be making some cool facial morphs

    More soon though!

Looking good. The way his arm attaches to his body and the placement of his Latissimus dorsi seem a bit off. If anything I would re-visit that if you can.

I modeled him too, you can see him on my cgsociety portfolio. I chose to make him have larger legs then in the series. Looking back I regret it just a little bit, but not enough to actually go back and fix it. Really nice proportions and I think your starting to get the look of Brock Samson really nicely.

Thanks to all for their feedback!

Here's a quick test render of my Brock model, with an ink and paint shader. Still lots to tweak, but it's getting closer to where I want it to be!

I am now heading back into Zbrush to fix some issues and detail him further

It's been a while since I last posted! Sorry about that, things have been crazy around here

I am experimenting with different shaders and render styles for Brock (in addition to refining the mesh). Here's a quick toon/ink and paint shader (worked over in After Effects):

I'm hoping to incorporate this style for his actual animation.

Let me know what you think!
