The silhouette definitely has some resembles to a Georgia O' Keef painting.
But I got this silhouette using a symmetry drawing software called Alchemy.
The following explains how I got to this silhouette:
I used Alchemy to do a random symmetry sketch then used it ans the inspiration for a sculpt using Dynamesh.
Then I did some liquifying and warping in Photoshop to explore the forms a bit further.
From there I went forward with the sculpt.
The sculpt still needs some work to really get the silhouette to where I want it, before I add any colour.
This is one of the first times I have used this process to develop a sculpt, so it would be interesting to get some feedback if anyone has some insights on this kind of work flow.
