    Hey rwilliamr

Thanks for the comment. I am playing around with workflows for creating different silhouettes and get some good looking anatomy.

I will share when I have something to show off.

Also thanks to 023750260iRock for your positive comment.

Alien ecorche' concept I am experimenting with.

Would be great to get some C & C and see what you think of this.

    Thanks

Very nice alien ecorche. Definitely worth taking the concept further.
I'm not so sure about the inward rotation of the lower arm, though, seems a bit TOO strong for my taste...
    All the same, good concept!

Since form follows function Im not tooo sure about this design. What are the reasons for this anatomy?

    Hi G-Dub

    Thanks for you input.

I should have been more clear about my intention for this concept and the anatomy choices I made.

I wanted to create a biped that had a some different anatomy features from human anatomy that could turn into a quadruped when it had to move quickly.

Here is a quick Dynamesh pose to illustrate my idea more clearly. I would be interested if you have any further feedback.

PS Just been checking out your quick sketches and sculpts. Great stuff you've got there. I can' t believe I've missed your posts. Great work.

    Hey MattSkinny

Thanks for the input. I was struggling with this idea of the inverted wrists too, but I hope that the image above gives you more of an idea of what I was going for.

I'll check out you ebook out soon too.

    Cheers

    Added an up right pose.

Still a lot of work to do on poses, just roughing in out and experimenting. All the feedback is invaluable. Really makes me think about lots of different aspects of my sculpting and the visual communication of my ideas. Thanks heaps.

I see, that makes sense to me know. It certainly looks stranger and more menacing with the inverted wrist, and less human, so I would stick with it!
Expression beats anatomy for me every time.
And thanks, glad you like my stuff too!

Bit of work on the body.

I sculpted the head separately form the body. I find it a lot harder to get consistency in style between the head an the body this way.
